It started with a mother-daughter brunch, then quick shopping trip to get a swimsuit for a pool party.
My daughter was 10 - right in that in-between stage where everything is changing.

We started in the girls’ section: flimsy tops, little support, and childish styles.
We tried the women’s section: too revealing and not age-appropriate.
And that’s when it hit me:
There was no option for her as a tween.
As a mom, that didn’t sit right
Because I remember what it felt like to grow up uncomfortable in a swimsuit.
I never want that for my daughter.
