What makes NextWave Swim different
NextWave was built for tween girls who were getting overlooked in the swimwear aisle.
We design for girls’ sizes 7–16, with intentional construction, thoughtful coverage, supportive fabric, sewn-in cups, and styles made for confidence and motion.
Female-founded by a mom who got tired of the same frustrating swimsuit search.
Why does NextWave cost more than some girls’ swimsuits?
Because better details cost more to make.
Our suits are made in America with supportive compression fabric, full lining, sewn-in cups, thoughtful coverage, and stay-put construction.
We are not trying to make the cheapest suit in the drawer.
We are trying to make the one she reaches for first, the one she’s confident in, and the one parents trust.
Sizing & Fit
What sizes does NextWave Swim carry?
NextWave Swim is made for girls’ sizes 7–16.
What size should I order?
Start with our Size Guide. If she is between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up.
Tween sizing can be a whole thing. We get it.
Are tops and bottoms sold separately?
Yes. Tops and bottoms are sold separately because top and bottom sizes do not always match.
Product Details
Do the suits have sewn-in cups?
Yes. All tops size 8/10-16 and one-pieces size 8/10-16 have sewn-in cups.
No removable cups. No bunching. No twisting.
Are the suits fully lined?
Yes. Our suits are fully lined for a smoother, more secure feel.
What is the fabric like?
Our suits use smooth, supportive compression fabric designed to stay close without feeling stiff.
Translation: it is made to move with her, stay put, and keep up through high-movement days.
Do the suits have UPF 50+?
Yes. Our swimwear has UPF 50+ fabric for built-in sun protection.
Still use sunscreen. We are pro-swimsuit, not anti-sunscreen.
Orders & Shipping
When will I receive my order?
In-stock items usually ship within 2–4 business days, to allow processing.
Pre-orders are different. If your order includes a pre-order item, it will ship within the timeframe listed on that product page. Pre-orders typically ship within 5-7 weeks.
What is the shipping fee?
NextWave ships using USPS Ground Advantage, delivering in 2-5 days after we process your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally.
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout and include all duties and taxes.
Will my order ship all together?
Yes. If your order includes multiple items, everything will ship together once the full order is ready.

How should I care for my NextWave suit?
Rinse after swimming.
Hand wash cold.
Hang dry.
Repeat.
For best results, avoid bleach, dryers, rough surfaces, and letting a wet suit sit in a bag all day. We know it happens. Just do your best.
